Dobroflot Group of Companies modernizes scallop cultivation using Japanese engineering solutions and equipment of Towa Denki Seisakusho, Inc. with support of Japanese Project Promotion Vehicle in the Far East, LLC

Dobroflot Group of Companies is modernizing its artificial scallop farming using Japanese equipment and technology through cooperation with the Japanese company Towa Denki Seisakusho, Inc. With the assistance of LLC Japanese Project Promotion Vehicle in the Far East (JPPV), Dobroflot Group of Companies and Towa Denki Seisakusho, Inc. entered a contract in July 2020, under which by a special order was produced the first part of equipment, that was delivered to the cultivation site in January 2021. The companies plan to continue cooperation on the development of the seafood production in the Far East using the preferential regime of the advanced special economic zone and the free port of Vladivostok.

Dobroflot Group of Companies is one of the major seafood fishing and processing enterprises of the Far East.

Towa Denki Seisakusho, Inc. is a Japanese company, one of the world leaders in manufacturing equipment and technologies for seafood catching and processing.

JPPV, established on March 14, 2018 as a joint Russian-Japanese company by Japan Bank for International Cooperation, the Far East Investment and Export Agency and the Far East and Arctic Region Development Fund, is a consulting company aiming to support Japanese companies in doing business and investment activities in the Russian Far East.

The cooperation between JPPV, Dobroflot Group of Companies and Towa Denki Seisakusho, Inc. is a successful step forward in the development of Japanese-Russian cooperation in the Russian Far East.
